Incredible experience!
To be honest, I was not sure what to expect when arriving at Tau, given the fact that messages on TripAdivor indicated that this beautiful accommodation suffered from a fire in the main lodge last June.
I am truly amazed by how quickly this lodge recovered. If I had not known about the fire, I would not have noticed anything. My wife and my parents together with our 1,5 year old had an amazing experience that lasted for over 4 days.
Lodges were excellent and perfectly situated around the waterhole, ensuring a perfect view on the wildlife. What a variety of animals we have seen!
Having been granted the opportunity to join beautiful game drives in Botswana and Namibia, I must admit that Madikwe in general and Tau in particular can certainly compete.
Though, it is particularly the staff of Tau that makes the difference. Rarely in my life I have felt so welcome at an accommodation. Our ranger Declan who has been driving us for 4 days is truly passionate about his job and goes beyond anything to ascertain you will get the best experience possible. But also other staff members were so lovely and friendly. I can certainly recommend going to Tau and enjoy their hospitality! Nelis84, The Netherlands
